Michael Chu

 Mr. Chu is a technical expert in software and hardware
design and development for the comm-unication and computer
systems. He is well respected for his extensive expertise
in the Dual-processor system and smart phone design. Mr.
Chu also possesses vast knowledge and experience in Mobile
Internet System arch-itecture.
As a system design engineer, Mr. Chu worked in the
concurrent multi-processor architecture application
team in United Kingdom from 1986 to 1991 .
Mr. Chu returned to H.K. working for Motorola Semiconductor
Sector in 1993. Mr. Chu directed software development
and created the core OS for Motorola Dragonball microprocessor
family.
Mr. Chu joined Motorola Beijing design center as the
Director of Engineering responsible for the software
development for the “Tai-Chi” PDA phone family in 1999
to 2001. He then led an End to End Solution engineering
team to further enhance the value of smart phone in
the vertical market. During this period, Mr. Chu was
credited as the main technology architect of both software
and hardware platforms for this award winning “Tai-Chi”
PDA phone family. Mr. Chu left Motorola to Join E28
at the end of 2002.
Mr. Chu obtained B.Eng Hon. Microelectronics and Microprocessor
Application from Newcastle University, United Kingdom
in 1986.
Mr. Chu has been granted 2 patents under Motorola
Semiconductor Sectors:
1. Effective use of Power Management using frequency
control on an embedded device
2. Power Management control using time division of frequency
on an integrated microprocessor |
